Country Travel Tracker — Official Terms of Use

WELCOME TO PATHY: By downloading, installing, or using the PATHY mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

PATHY is developed and operated by RDC Apps, based in Romania ("we", "us", or "the developer"). If you have any questions or feedback concerning these Terms, you may reach out to us at support@rdcapps.com.

2. Data Privacy & Security

Your privacy is our utmost priority. PATHY is an offline-first travel-tracking utility. All your marked countries, travel logs, specific dates, and travel journal notes are stored securely and exclusively on your own mobile device (local storage). We do not collect, store, share, or sell your personal travel information. Advertising and purchase providers may separately process technical, device, and transaction information as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Local Storage Disclaimer

⚠️ CRITICAL DATA WARNING:

Because all your travel history and notes are stored strictly on your local device, uninstalling the App, clearing App data, or resetting your phone will permanently delete all your travel records and journal entries. We have no servers, no databases, and no cloud backups, meaning we cannot retrieve or restore your deleted data under any circumstances.

4. Voluntary Support & Premium Features

PATHY is funded through Google AdMob advertising, optional one-time Supporter purchases, Monthly Supporter subscriptions, and Premium Lifetime packages handled securely via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing. We offer three tiers of support:

Advertising and consent

The free app may include banner, native, interstitial, and app-open ads served by Google AdMob. Interstitials appear at navigation breaks; app-open ads follow separate eligibility rules. Advertising requires a connection and depends on availability and privacy choices. Travel-tracking features remain available offline.

Google UMP manages required advertising consent messages before requests are permitted. Available choices can be revisited through Settings → Ad privacy choices while advertising is enabled. Declining personalization does not necessarily remove all ads. Supporter and active Monthly Supporter remove advertising; Premium Lifetime unlocks premium features separately.

5. Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds

All transactions, payments, and subscriptions are processed and managed securely by Google Play. If you choose a monthly subscription, your account will be billed monthly, and the subscription will auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.

You can easily manage, review, or cancel your active monthly subscription anytime directly through your Google Play Store Account under "Subscriptions" (a direct button shortcut is provided in the App's settings for transparency).

Refunds are processed solely by Google in accordance with the Google Play Store Refund Policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly. Refunds, entitlement revocations, or Monthly Supporter expiry may restore ads when purchase status is synchronized. Cancelling renewal normally preserves ad removal until the current paid period ends.

6. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use PATHY for personal, non-commercial purposes. All code, design, layouts, graphics, maps, and assets are the intellectual property of RDC Apps and are protected by international copyright laws.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its assets without prior written consent from the developer.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be completely free of minor bugs, glitches, or interruptions.

In no event shall the developer, RDC Apps, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, including the loss of locally stored travel records, journals, or customized settings.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time to reflect updates in App features, billing SDKs, or legal requirements. The updated date will always be visible at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
